Son Of Sardaar 2 Review:
If you are looking for a calm and serious story, then Son Of Sardaar 2 is not for you. But if you want to watch a film full of fun, drama and heart touching moments, then this film will not disappoint you. After a long gap, Ajay Devgan has once again returned in his Punjabi avatar, and believe me this film is fantastic. Director Vijay Kumar Arora has presented this film as a fun family entertainer, which is full of laughter as well as emotions.
The story begins in Punjab, where Jassi (Ajay Devgan) is living with his past marriage and incomplete love. His wife Dimple (Neeru Bajwa) is now in London, and Jassi reaches there with the intention of getting her back. But he gets a shock on reaching London. Dimple has forgotten him, not only this, Dimple wants a divorce from Jassi, and she throws him out of the house. And then, Jassi meets Rabia (Mrinal Thakur), a Pakistani girl who runs a dance group in London that performs at weddings.
Twist in the story.
Gul (Deepak), Mehwish (Kubra) and Danish (Chunky) are Rabia's business partners, and all are Pakistanis. Danish's daughter Saba (Roshni) is in love with Gogi (Sahil), but Gogi's father Raja Sandhu (Ravi Kishan) wants an Indian and traditional girl for his son. Now Rabia convinces Jassi to become Saba's (Roshni Walia) fake father, so that she can marry her boyfriend, and this is the twist in the story, Jassi reaches Raja Sandhu as an army officer, and then begins the series of comedy, drama and uproar.
Mrunal's first commercial film.
Ajay Devgan has brought life to the character of Jassi. His comic timing, innocence and style are worth watching. Mrunal Thakur's role is also strong, she is not just a supporting character but the soul of the film. Let us tell you, Son of Sardar 2 is Mrunal's first commercial film.
Deepak Dobriyal has done a very different and heart-touching work in the character of 'Gul'. He has played a transgender character with respect and sensitivity, which is rarely seen in Hindi films. Ravi Kishan has given a brilliant performance as Raja Sandhu. Every scene of his is fun.
The location and cinematography of the film is also excellent. From the mustard fields of Punjab to the beautiful valleys of Scotland, everything is a pleasure to the eyes.
The music is also the soul of the film. Songs like "Pehla Tu Dooja Tu", "Nazar Battu", and "Nachdi" are well connected with the story and make the atmosphere even more vibrant.
The film is full of laughter, emotion and colourful fun.
Director Vijay Kumar Arora has handled a large cast, fast-paced story and emotional twists very well. There is also a twist in the story that ties everything together and ends the film on a great note.
Produced by Devgn Films and Jio Studios, Son of Sardaar 2 is a spicy, feel-good film that is full of laughter, emotion and colourful fun. The film shows how even a lie can sometimes change one's life-and how family is where the heart is.
